Wilma Jean Smith Adams age 70, passed away June 3, 2011 at Point Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family. Wilma was born on July 11, 1940 to Willa Mae Daniel and Larry Smith in Birmingham AL. Wilma is survived by her 5 children, 2 step children, one God daughter, grandchildren, great grandchildren, 1 aunt and many family and friends. Wilma was a graduate of the Edward Drummond Libby High School in 1958; she was honored as a Debutant in 1957. Wilma leaves to cherish her loving memories: daughters: Wendy (Craig) Steele, Tiffany D. Daniels, God daughter Yvonne Copeland. Sons: Eric Daniels, Corey Adams, Courtney Adams, step sons, Frederick Adams, Forris Watkins and Alton Reid. Grandchildren Whitney Tutt, Jeremy Sansbury, Danny Brown, Amber Brown, and Kristian Scott. 23 additional grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. Aunt Fannie Mae Markey, 2 sister in-laws, 2 brother in-laws and a host of other relatives and friends. Wilma was preceded in death by her Mother, granddaughter and grandmother. The family would like to thank Caring Cremation Services, Dr. Jennifer K. Grogan of West Toledo General Surgeons and staff, Advanced Specialty Hospitals of Toledo, Waterford Commons and staff, and Odyssey Hospice of Maumee. Memorial services will be held at Mount Nebo Baptist church 831 N. Detroit Avenue, Toledo, OH 43607 on June 18, 2011 at 2 P.M. with a gathering beginning at 1 P.M.
